The contest is based on the TTM algorithm for
public-key encryption. The TTM 1.7 cipher has 72-byte blocks. The ciphertext
(the encrypted text) would consist of 100-byte blocks.
The candidate plaintext and key must be sent either by mail or via email to US
Data Security in precisely the
fashion specified in the section "Format of Submissions", and the winning
submission for a contest will be the one that was received first by US Data
Security Inc. and processed and judged to be correct by us. The winner's
entry wil be announced by US Data Security Inc..
No employees of US Data Security Inc. or their relatives are eligible to
participate.
US Data Security Inc. reserves the right to change the contest rules at any time
at its sole discretion, without notice, including the right to change or extend
the challenge list, and/or to terminate the contest. US Data Security is the
sole arbiter and administrator for this contest; the judgment of US Data
Security in all matters is final.
